The new products are being dubbed to be healthier option to what is being sold by the MNCs.The Yoga Gruru also talked about plans to launch an entire range of garments, followed by milk products.The marketing personnel were asked to push the products through door-to-door marketing on the grounds that Patanjali’s brands were purely natural as compared to chemical-mixed products of the rivals.Asked about his views on the political situation, Ramdev called the no-confidence motion moved by TDP as signs of healthy democracy. On a question about the likely outcome of the 2019 general elections, he said, “The polls would be fought on core issues and lets see who wins the people’s hearts this time.”On Rahul Gandhi hugging Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the parliament, he said political parties should have difference on issues, but there should be no animosity at personal level. Commenting on Modi citing data about the government’s achievements so far, he said that figures have their own importance in politics, he preferred not to comment on it.He said, “Everybody should make earnest efforts to deal with issues like poverty, unemployment, social inequality and political injustice which continue to dog the country. Even we have been doing it as a service to the nation and not for political gains.”In the last one month, the group has employed 11,000 people and the number would reach 30,000 by December. There are long-term plans to employ 5 lakh people, he said.On the government’s performance, he said even as some measures have been taken against black money on the domestic front, a huge amount of unaccounted wealth lies abroad. “This needs to be brought back. A lot more also needs to be done to change the system as well,” he added.
