Nagpur: According to a Times of India news, a stunning revelation, Nagpur Mayor Nanda Jichkar has taken her younger son Priyash, ,on an official tour of the US,whom she has introduces as her private secretary in the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC). According to report Published by TOI , While Jichkar has informed the officiating municipal commissioner Ravindra Thakre about the tour, she makes no mention about her son traveling with her. When repoter of the newspaper spoke to her She said that the organizer had allowed her to bring one person.Since Priyash looks after my social media, ar I chose to take him,” she said, adding that some of the others who are at the conference too have brought along family members. Stunned by this revelation , the ruling party leaders in the NMC has excepted that it was wrong on Jichkar’s part “to take her son along as private secretary”. BJP City Unit will seek a reply from Jichkar when she returns. Jichkar is a BJP corporator from ward No. 37 which includes areas like Pratap Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, Gopal Nagar etc. Jichkar is in San Francisco on the invitation of the governor of California Edmund G Brown Jr to attend the meeting of the Global Co-tenant of Mayors for Climate Ind Energy (GCoM) which is international alliance of city Let works and their members committed to raising the global ambition for climate action. This is 6th Official tour of City Mayor in last 11 month.
