Finish all development works under Mineral Fund before June, 2019: Bawankule

The Public Works Department will get Rs 17 crore and Zilla Parishad Public Works Department to get Rs 3.5 crore. Nagpur: The Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule has directed the concerned authorities to complete the development works for which funds were sanctioned by District Mineral Fund by June 2019.,Bawankule reviewed the developmental works sanctioned under District Mineral Fund. The Health Department has received Rs 7 crore for affected areas and Rs 4.5 crore for non- affected areas. The water supply schemes of Rs 12 crore sanctioned for affected areas and Rs five crore for non-affected areas. He said Rs 60 crore were sanctioned for road works and out of it, Rs 41 crore have been allotted.

He said, several developmental works of Rs 109 crore have been sanctioned. The fund will be distributed in affected and non-affected areas. The water supply schemes of Rs 12 crore sanctioned for affected areas and Rs five crore for non-affected areas. The water supply schemes will be completed by March 2019, he said. The Health Department has received Rs 7 crore for affected areas and Rs 4.5 crore for non- affected areas. Women and Child Welfare Department has failed to spend funds. The Guradian Minister further said that Education Department also received Rs 10 crore. Rs 4 crore have been sanctioned for schemes for senior citizens and Divyangs. He said Rs 60 crore were sanctioned for road works and out of it, Rs 41 crore have been allotted. The remaining funds will be released after furnishing utilization certificates. The Public Works Department will get Rs 17 crore and Zilla Parishad Public Works Department to get Rs 3.5 crore. Water Resources Department has received Rs 25 lakh but work yet to begin. The Mineral Fund will be used for providing solar panels to all the schools. MLA Mallikarjun Reddy, former MLA Adv. Ashish Jaiswal, District Collector Ashwin Mudgal, CEO Sanjay Yadav and others were present in the meeting.
