NMC seizes 475 kg of banned plastic bags from Gurunanak Plastics

The weight of the seized plastic bags was 475 kg. Nagpur: Officials of NMC’s Zone 6, 7 and 8 carried out a joint action on godown of Gurunanak Plastics at Ganjakhet Square, Prabhag 20 and seized banned plastic bags below 50 micron thickness. The action was taken by Zone 7 Health Inspector Ajay Malik, Menace Search Squad Chief Tarvatkar, Zone 6 Health Inspector Javed Khan, Divakar Padole, Sunil Turkel, Kishore Hazare and other officials of Zone 6, 7 and 8. The officials recovered Rs 5000 as fine from the owner Gangaram Wadhvani.
