MANAHSPARSH conducts free mental health checkups across Nagpur

After a free Mental Health Check-up they will be assisted to deal with their stress better. To celebrate the Mental Health Month, October, Psych-Ed 2018 is being conducted at 5 different locations across the city. The exhibition marked a footfall of about 900 people and helped them to find their mental health index and deal with their negative thoughts, emotions and reactions. Nagpur: With an aim to provide an insightful experience about the importance and relevance of mental health, MANAHSPARSH organises interactive and experiential exhibition – PSYCH-Ed every year. With more than 15 interactive and fun activities, eye-catching info graphic displays and 45 trained volunteers for personal assistance, the visitors will find out their Mental Health Index (MHI).

Nagpur: With an aim to provide an insightful experience about the importance and relevance of mental health, MANAHSPARSH organises interactive and experiential exhibition – PSYCH-Ed every year. To celebrate the Mental Health Month, October, Psych-Ed 2018 is being conducted at 5 different locations across the city. The next exhibitions shall be organised on October 12 at Hislop College and on October 14, Sunday, at Walker’s Street, Seminary Hills between 6am to 10am. With more than 15 interactive and fun activities, eye-catching info graphic displays and 45 trained volunteers for personal assistance, the visitors will find out their Mental Health Index (MHI). After a free Mental Health Check-up they will be assisted to deal with their stress better. The event was organized on October 6 at VNIT Gate Abhyankar Nagar, October 9 in Ramdeobaba College and on October 10 in Tirpude College. The exhibition marked a footfall of about 900 people and helped them to find their mental health index and deal with their negative thoughts, emotions and reactions. The activities, interaction and explanation is customized according to the age group and utilizes metaphoric activities that involve participants to tie strings, ring bells, mix water and oil, collect chips throughout, throw balls, paint trees, segregate objects, blow and burst balloons, colour boards and break rubberbands! The participants are actively encouraged to use stress buster props, share their experiences, and take help in identifying their healthy and unhealthy patterns. Manahsparsh at Psych-Ed is also giving out souvenirs like therapeutic bookmarks, motivational postcards, interactive and engaging calendars, pep talk badges and awareness coasters. The event is free and open to all.
