Five booked for land fraud of Rs 17.40 lakh

Nagpur: Sadar police have booked five office-bearers of M/s Discovery Group of Farmland Developer sand Builders for duping gullible investors to the tune of Rs 17.40 lakh. The accused had floated a layout on the land of someone else and sold the plot to investors between March 2012 and 2018. 197, Kalpaswaru Colony and others, Sadar police have registered a case under Sections 420, 467 and 471 of IPC. Following a compliant lodged by plot owner Nishant Devrao Murmare (37), a resident of Plot No. The accused have been identified as Rajesh Ganpatrao Chhatre (55), Raghuveer Singh Dadiyal (45), Jyoti Dipak Bandawar (44), Mohd Ariff Anwar Humayu and Rashid Khan.
