Ajni cops nab two burglars within 48 hours of crime, recover booty worth Rs 6 lakh

Nagpur: In a swift action, Ajni police nabbed two men involved in house-breakings and recovered stolen valuables worth Rs 3.30 lakh within 48 hours of the crime. Cops also seized a Bullet motorcycle and a Maestro moped worth Rs 1.70 lakh from the two accused. With the arrest of the two accused, cops also cracked a house-breaking incident in Hudkeshwar area. In his complaint, Satish informed the cops about theft of cash, gold ornaments, and a LCD TV collectively worth Rs 3.30 lakh. Cops recovered the stolen valuables and a Bullet motorcycle and a Maestro moped worth Rs 1.70 lakh from the two accused who had used the vehicles in the crime.

Nagpur: In a swift action, Ajni police nabbed two men involved in house-breakings and recovered stolen valuables worth Rs 3.30 lakh within 48 hours of the crime. Cops also seized a Bullet motorcycle and a Maestro moped worth Rs 1.70 lakh from the two accused. The two arrested accused have been identified as Afsar Khan Mohd Akhtar Khan (31), resident of Timki, near Teen Khamba Square, and Irfan Khan Hamid Khan (28), resident of Khadan Gandhibagh, near Jyotinagar Old Gymnasium. According to police, a resident of PWD Qtr No. 4/5, Rajnagar Complex, near Mental Hospital Square, Sadar, Satish Premlal Chavan (32), in his complaint told police that his relative Kalicharan Gulzarilal Takbhavare, along with family, had gone on Kullu Manali tour on November 12. In the meantime, neighbours of Kalicharan, on November 13 around 8 am, noticed door lock of Kalicharan’s house broken. They immediately informed Kalicharan on phone about the incident. Kalicharan, in turn, contacted his relative Satish Chavan and asked him to look into the matter. Subsequently, Satish lodged a complaint with Ajni police about the theft. In his complaint, Satish informed the cops about theft of cash, gold ornaments, and a LCD TV collectively worth Rs 3.30 lakh. Ajni cops, after registering the case, swung into action and nabbed the two accused Afsar Khan Mohd Akhtar Khan Irfan Khan Hamid Khan within 48 hours of the crime with the help of informants and latest technology. Cops recovered the stolen valuables and a Bullet motorcycle and a Maestro moped worth Rs 1.70 lakh from the two accused who had used the vehicles in the crime. With the arrest of the two accused, cops also cracked a house-breaking incident in Hudkeshwar area. The action was carried out by Senior PI S S Sankhe, PSIs Y V Ingle, K P Magar, and other staff Anil Brahmankar, Ramchandra Karemore, Sidharth Patil, Shailesh Bedodekar, Ashish Raut, Manoj Tekam, Rahul Warkhade, Devendra Navghare, Woman Police Sepoys Alka Thengre, Neha Bajpayee, Vanita Verma under the guidance of DCP Zone 4 Nilesh Bharne and ACP Rajendra Dhamnerkar.
