Court of Wards opens donation boxes of Chhota Tajbag

Nagpur: The Court of Wards, which is he headed by collector Ashwin Mudgal, opened seven donation boxes installed at Tajjudin Baba’s Chhota Tajbag on Tuesday. An amount of Rs2,70,579 was recovered from the donation boxes and it will be deposited in the account of The Court of Wards.Stating that all seven donation boxes are full, the Court of Wards sought permission of the district and session court for opening them. The Court of Wards installed three new donation boxes on October 4. The donation boxes are yet to be opened as they are not full. Two donation boxes at the temple were sealed.

An amount of Rs2,70,579 was recovered from the donation boxes and it will be deposited in the account of The Court of Wards.Stating that all seven donation boxes are full, the Court of Wards sought permission of the district and session court for opening them. On October 10, the joint civil judge (senior division) KS Totla granted permission.Accordingly, the Court of Wards team led by tehsildar Ashok Kumre, block officer Rajendra Dethe and other officials opened the donation boxes. Dr Pradeep Deshmukh represented the Senior Bhonsle Estate, Uday Shirke the Shirke family and police personnel from Sakkardara police station were present.The land on which Chhota Tajbag is situated is under the possession of the Court of Wards. Shrike family was looking after the management of the shrine and the donation boxes.As per district and session court’s order, the Court of Wards took over the shrine and sealed four donation boxes at the shrine on August 24. The Court of Wards installed three new donation boxes on October 4. All were filled with notes and coins.The Court of Wards will not spend the donation money. It will be kept in the Court of Wards’ account till further orders of the court.Similarly, the Court of Wards had also taken the Laxminarayan temple at Sakkardara under its possession. Two donation boxes at the temple were sealed. The donation boxes are yet to be opened as they are not full.
