Nagpur: Three persons, including a teenager, allegedly committed suicide at their houses in separate incidents on Monday. Police have registered a case of accidental death in all the three matters and further investigations are underway.18-year-old Shweta Umale died at a private hospital after she allegedly consumed some spurious item at her home in Hingna on February 9. Police said Shweta was taken to the hospital after her heath suddenly deteriorated and died on Monday during treatment. Though Hingna police have registered a case of accidental death following an MLC from the hospital, they have not ruled out the possibility of suicide.Omprakash Darshanwar (23) hanged himself after allegedly seeing his ex-wife with another man on Monday at Nayapura. Omprakash, a resident of Ghatanji in Yavatmal district, was at her sister’s house in the city. Police said Omprakash got married to with Shalu (name changed) about a year ago. But, the couple separated few months ago. Shalu lives near the house of Omprakash’s sister.A few days ago, Omprakash came to meet his sister and saw Shalu with another man. Police said Omprakash also left a suicide note claiming that he loves his parents and Shalu. He also urged Shalu not to get married.In another incident, Manoj Bambal (38) took the drastic step by hanging himself to the ceiling fan at his home in Sambhaji Nagar. According to police, Manoj, who had a private job, was an alcoholic and might have taken the step under the influence of alcohol. Manoj committed suicide when all of his family members were at home.
