“Focus will also be on autorickshaws that were scrapped but still ferrying passengers in many parts of the city,” he said and added that autos which have been modified to accommodate more than permissible capacity will also be targeted. “Apart from police personnel from eight traffic zones, a police sub-inspector and two constables will also participate in the drive,” Roushan told TOI.The drive will be implemented on major roads like Central Avenue, Hingna, Pardi etc.As per plan, traffic cops will target autorickshaws with front seats and excess seat. Nagpur: Deputy commissioner of police (traffic) Raj Tilak Roushan has sought help of personnel from city police stations to keep a check on unruly autorickshaws in Nagpur.Following the attack by two autorickshaw drivers on a traffic cop at Ganeshpeth recently, the traffic police have also chalked out a strategy against three-seater vehicles in the city.
