CBSE Std XII students smile after political science paper

Nagpur: CBSE Std XII students were pleasantly surprised as the political science paper, held on Tuesday, was errorless and easier than they had expected it to be. We had to write a lot of general points in 6 mark questions because they did not have more than 3-4 points. Most of the students completed the paper well ahead of time.Rebecca Mathews, a student of Centre Point School (CPS), Katol Road, said, “The paper was very easy. I expected a much more difficult paper. 6 mark questions were difficult as it had only 3 points but we had to elaborate it and those were time consuming also.

I did not find any part difficult. Paper was not lengthy thus I was able to finish it 15 minutes early. Paper had no errors.”The paper was medium level difficult. I got set 3 which was more difficult than set 1 and 2. 1 and 2 mark questions were easy. 6 mark questions were the difficult ones. Paper was not so lengthy. I finished it 10 minutes early. Paper had no errors,” said Rudhransh Datta from Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir (BVM), Shrikrishna Nagar.Sahil Patil, a student of CPS, Katol Road, found the questions to be lengthy. He added, “The paper was medium level difficult because the questions asked were not so difficult, but lengthy. 6 mark questions were very difficult as they had only 3 point answers but we had to write a lot to make it for 6 marks. 1 mark questions were very easy as it had 1 word answers. Paper had no errors.”“The paper was overall easy. It went pretty well. Map questions, which were for 5 marks, were very easy. 6 mark questions were difficult as it had only 3 points but we had to elaborate it and those were time consuming also. Overall, the paper was not so lengthy,” said Akanksha Mishra, from CPS, Katol Road.“I had got set 2 which was comparatively difficult from set 1 and set 3. Still, I found the paper to be of medium level difficulty. I expected a much more difficult paper. 1 and 2 markers were very easy and 6 markers were difficult. I found the paper to be lengthy, but I finished it on time. Paper had no errors,” said Anushka Vaidya, another student from BVM, Shrikrishna Nagar.Aalhad Raut, a student of CPS, Katol Road, said, “The paper was easier than what I had expected. Last part of the paper, which had 6 mark questions, had lengthy answers. We had to write a lot of general points in 6 mark questions because they did not have more than 3-4 points. 1 mark questions were very easy. This year, we had more choices in the question paper which was very helpful. Paper was not lengthy and had no errors.”
