The deceased had been identified as Buddharam alias Kallu Kaleshwar Kaithwas (50) resident of 133 Kashi Nagar, Ringh Road. Whereas in less than 24 hrs Crime Branch arrested accused Badal Wasantrao Pradhan (24) and Prashil Suresh Dukre (28) both an auto driver, who used share same room with the deceased. The body was first spotted by deceased’s lover in the wee hours of Saturday, who later alerted nearby people and police. While addressing press conference DCP Nilesh Bharne informed press personnel that, “Kaithwas’s 22-year-old lover was our first suspect, as she reached the crime stop within few hours of crime. However while interrogating it was established that her presence was a coincidence.” “Accused Badal had borrowed deceased’s auto earlier on Friday. However when he didn’t show up till night, furious Kathiwas started abusing him over a phone call. Angry due to which Badal and Prashil attacked 50-year-old’s neck with a sharp weapons while he was asleep at around 11:30 pm on Friday night. Accused duo later tied the Kaithwas’s body to a stone and dumped it inside a nearby well,” said the DCP. “However police are still trying to find all possible angels,” he asserted. Kaithwas, recently had earned hefty sum of Rs 10-12 as a brokerage. He had bought an auto few days back and was planning to share some amount with his wife and his two sons. However his sudden murder over petty argument had raised several eyebrows, as some facts are still unresolved.
