Govt should decide on schools re-opening carefully: Fadnavis Principal Correspondent : Expressing concern over rising coronavirus cases in Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra State Assembly said “The Government should take decision of schools re-opening carefully.” Fadnavis was speaking to mediapersons after the convention of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to review the campaigning of Graduates Constituency polls at Hotel Centre Point on Saturday. Fadnavis said “At some places the cases of Covid-19 positive persons are increasing. The government has taken a decision of asking teachers to undergo Covid-19 test which is justified. But the charges for the test should be borne by the Government.” On the issue of Hindutva Fadnavis said “Hindutva was never aggressive. It is known for tolerance. Go through the history there is not a single mention about Hindus attacking others. A person like Owaisi states something and nobody acts against him does it not indicates how tolerant Hindus are?” Sudhir Mungantiwar former Finance Minister and now Chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) who also attended the convention also spoke to media.
