Man found murdered in his house at PiplaKhaperkheda Correspondent :SENSATION prevailed at Pipla (Dak Bungalow) in Khaperkheda area after a middle-aged man was found murdered in his house with a pickaxe on Thursday morning. Body of Santosh Gokulnath Solanki (55) was found lying on a cot with the pickaxe perched in his head. His wife along with three teenage children started staying at her parents' house at Dhapewada. SP Nagpur (Rural) Rakesh Ola Additional SP Rahul Maknikar and Senior PI (LCB) Anil Jittawar also visited the spot to supervise investigations. The killer picked up a pickaxe and attacked Solanki on head killing him on the spot.

Man found murdered in his house at Pipla Khaperkheda Correspondent : SENSATION prevailed at Pipla (Dak Bungalow) in Khaperkheda area after a middle-aged man was found murdered in his house with a pickaxe on Thursday morning. Body of Santosh Gokulnath Solanki (55) was found lying on a cot with the pickaxe perched in his head. A labourer Solanki was addicted to alcohol. Father of two teenage daughters and a son he allegedly used to create scenes under the influence of liquor. His wife along with three teenage children started staying at her parents house at Dhapewada. Soon after receiving information about the incident staff from Khaperkheda Police led by PI Bhatkar and PI Chandrakant Kale rushed to the spot. SP Nagpur (Rural) Rakesh Ola Additional SP Rahul Maknikar and Senior PI (LCB) Anil Jittawar also visited the spot to supervise investigations. Senior officials started conducting inquiries with Solankis family members and relatives. Prima facie police said Solanki was killed when he was asleep on Wednesday night. The killer picked up a pickaxe and attacked Solanki on head killing him on the spot. The killer ran away as the pickaxe got fixed into his head. After conducting the inquest Panchnama the body was sent to Mayo Hospital for post-mortem. After registering a case under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code police detained some persons for questioning. No arrest was made till the filing of this report.
