Youth walks into police station with a bomb Staff Reporter : The youth confesses to making the bomb himself after watching a tutorial on YouTube The cops at Nandanvan police station were shocked when a youth walked into the police station with a bag containing a bomb. The youth told the police that he found the bomb near KDK College but later confessed to making the bomb himself after watching a tutorial on YouTube. Rahul Yuvaraj Pagade (25) a resident of Plot No 42 Sai Baba Nagar Kharbi was arrested by the police for making the bomb. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Zone IV Dr Akshay Shinde informed The Hitavada that Rahul worked in a salon and lived alone at a rented house. He left studies after he failed in Standard IX. His mother died of tuberculosis while father died due to blood cancer in 2013. All his three sisters are married. Rahul told the police that he learnt making bomb after watching tutorials on YouTube. He extracted flash powder from firecrackers and filled petrol in a bottle from the fuel tank of his motorcycle. A charged mobile battery and a small 9 volt battery he used to trigger the bomb. As per the tutorial he connected the wires from the battery to the petrol bottle. The battery was used for explosion. After making the bomb Rahul was scared of the blast and decided to dispose it. Finally he cut off wires of the bag and walked into the police station where he han ed-over the bag to the police at 12.30 pm on Sunday. The cops were shocked after seeing the bomb with connections and immediately alerted the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS). The BDDS men rushed to the police station and found that the bomb was defused. During interrogation Rahul told the police that he found the bag lying abandoned in bushes near KDK college. The police team visited the spot and again started interrogation of him. The police grew suspicious of the statement of Rahul and took him to his place for checking where the police found raw material of the bomb. Finally the youth confessed for making the bomb. An offence under sections 285 286 725 (A) of Arms Act and Section 123 of Mumbai Police Act was registered by Nandanvan police. He will be produced in court on Sunday. I kill you Nagpur A paper slip wrapped over the bomb showed that Rahuls intentions. In the slip I kill you Nagpur was written in English letters. In this slip KBMA was also written with a question mark. When asked about this Rahul told the cops that he wanted to blow up these four areas - K for Cotton Market B for Bagadganj M for Mahal and A for Ajni. Bomb made three weeks ago Senior Police Inspector Mukhtar Sheikh of Nandanvan police station informed that Rahul made the bomb three-weeks ago in excitement. His intention of blast was not yet ascertained the PI said. Later he was scared of the blast and took it to the police station.
