Staff Reporter :While dedicating Butibori flyover to public Union Minister Nitin Gadkari assures to extend Nagpur Metro to ButiboriThe much-awaited Butibori flyover was dedicated to public on Thursday ceremoniously. Nitin Gadkari Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways dedicated the flyover to public and made two major announcements -- to make Nagpur-Butibori highway six-lane in next six months and to extnd Nagpur Metro Rail to Butibori. According to the Union Minister around 100 people had died in road accidents and this particular stretch of Butibori had become a 'black spot'. Regarding Butibori's development too the Union Minister made certain announcements.

Staff Reporter : While dedicating Butibori flyover to public Union Minister Nitin Gadkari assures to extend Nagpur Metro to Butibori The much-awaited Butibori flyover was dedicated to public on Thursday ceremoniously. Nitin Gadkari Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways dedicated the flyover to public and made two major announcements -- to make Nagpur-Butibori highway six-lane in next six months and to extnd Nagpur Metro Rail to Butibori. “Nagpur-Butibori highway stretch is currently four-laned. In next six months this stretch will be six-laned. Further Nagpur Metro Rail will be extended to Butibori right up to Takalghat” Gadkari said while speaking on this occasion. As far as Butibori flyover was concerned he pointed out that it would ensure safe and faster travel between Nagpur and Wardha Chandrapur Hyderabad. According to the Union Minister around 100 people had died in road accidents and this particular stretch of Butibori had become a black spot. However he said with efforts and follow-up of Sameer Meghe Hingna MLA the flyover project materialised. The new flyover is an example of modern technology and engineering. The 1.69 km long flyover on National Highway-7 has been constructed at the cost of Rs 70 crore. While addressing the gathering Gadkari suggested that landscaping must be done under the flyover in right earnest to prevent future problem of encroachment and the painting should be done by using natural paint made by Khadi Gramodyog using cow-dung. Regarding Butiboris development too the Union Minister made certain announcements. He asked the elected representatives and officials concerned to prepare a development plan so as to made Butibori an ideal municipal council in the State. He announced to adopt Butibori municipal council under the Member of Parliaments local development scheme. Considering the pollution and emission in Butibori industrial area he said tree cover of the area should be increased by five times. Good schools and colleges healthcare centres proper drainage system safe and pure drinking water and other facilities should be available in Butibori he added. In his speech Gadkari also assured to make Nagpur green in next five years. He reiterated that Rs 2200 crore was being spent on beautification of Nag river. “In next two-three years I have plans to start travel by boat from Ambazari to Pardi” he stressed. There will be water stations and other facilities at Ambazari he added. Krupal Tumane and Dr Vikas Mahatme Members of Parliament; Sameer Meghe MLA; Girish Vyas MLC; Chandrashekhar Bawankule BJP State General Secretary; Sudhir Parwe former MLA; Adv Sulekha Kumbhare former Minister of State; Babloo Gautam Charansingh Thakur Dr Rajiv Potdar Ashok Dhote Sandhya Gotmare Akash Wankhede Pravin Sharma Atish Umre Dilawar Khan Avinash Gujar; officers of National Highway Authority of India and others were present prominently on the occasion.
