As far as Nagpur is concerned the districts weekly positivity rate continued with declining trend for third consecutive week. When the categorisation was announced on June 4 the Government had stated that it would review the district-wise situation every week on Friday based on the situation up to Thursday. In the first week -- from May 28 to June 3 -- only four out of 11 districts of Vidarbha qualified for Level-1. These four included Nagpur Chandrapur Gondia and Yavatmal. Gondia had the lowest case positivity rate in entire Maharashtra. However weekly positivity rate increased slightly in case of Buldhana Washim and Yavatmal districts compared to that last week.
