Two murders reported in Nagpur rural Staff Reporter : Two murders were reported in Nagpur Rural area under the jurisdiction of Umred and Kuhi Police Station area. In the first case a man was killed by two persons over old rivalry in Umred area on Sunday night. The police have arrested Shoeb Jani Shahid Sheikh (21) and Vikrant alias Vickey Mahendrasingh Chandel (22) both residents of Kawarapeth area of Umred for killing Shubham Motiram Thawkar (25) a resident of Gangapur Umred. According to police Shubham and Shoeb are truck drivers and working in coal mines in Ghugus area of Chandrapur. A fight broke out between Shoeb and Shubham over driving license last week. On Saturday Shoeb visited Shubhams place in his absence and hurled abuse at his wife. On Sunday night Shoeb again came to his place with Vikrant and took Shubham with them to Gangapur turning point. The accused assaulted Shubham and killed him by smashing his head with a boulder police said. An offence under Sections 302 and 34 of Indian Penal Code was registered by Umred police. In yet another case of murder a care-taker at a farm was killed by an unidentified thief and decamped with Rs 51000/- cash in Kuhi Police Station area. The deceased was identified as Naresh Dashrath Karudkar a resident of Fegad Kuhi. According to police the murder took place between June 17 and 20. Unidentified thieves entered the house in the farm near Mangali village and hacked to death Karudkar with a sharp-edged weapon. The incident came to fore on Sunday afternoon police said. A case under Sections 302 and 397 of IPC was registered by Kuhi police. Further investigation is on.
