Both Nagpur and Amravati divisions improved their results by almost 8 percent this year. Last year Amravati and Nagpur had secured 4th and 5th spots respectively but this year Nagpur was at 6th spot with a result of with 99.62 percent and Amravati stood at 8th position with 99.37 percent result. In Nagpur Division Chandrapur topped the table among all six districts with a pass percentage of 99.82 while Gadchiroli with 99.73 percent stood second. Nagpur scored 99.61 percent and was third.

(Pic by Satish Raut) Principal Correspondent : The HSC results of the examination conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education were announced on Tuesday and Vidarbha region has shown excellent performance. Both Nagpur and Amravati divisions improved their results by almost 8 percent this year. But position-wise both divisions have slipped in the State. Last year Amravati and Nagpur had secured 4th and 5th spots respectively but this year Nagpur was at 6th spot with a result of with 99.62 percent and Amravati stood at 8th position with 99.37 percent result. This year the Board had not conducted examination owing to COVID pandemic. Vaishali Dakhole Principal of Somalwar High School Ramdaspeth; Varsha Chinchkhede Dr Shubhra Roy Sonali Hinge Nitin Kinhekar and other teachers with meritorious students. The schools 23 students out of 73 scored 90% and above. Average marks scored in three subjects of SSC were considered in which the highest score of student in any three subjects of SSC marks of final examination of Class XI and marks scored in first semester test examination unit tests oral examination practicals were counted. Meanwhile girls outperformed the boys again with a pass percentage of 99.73 while that of boys being 99.54. In Nagpur Division Chandrapur topped the table among all six districts with a pass percentage of 99.82 while Gadchiroli with 99.73 percent stood second. Nagpur scored 99.61 percent and was third. It was followed by Wardha with 99.59 pc Bhandara with 99.54 pc and Gondia with 99.37 pc. Last year Gondia topped the table.
