Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Jivan Sadhana Puraskar was conferred upon noted philanthropist industrialist and President of Shri Ramdeobaba Sarvajanik Samiti Trust that runs Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM) Satyanarayan Nuwal and internationally-acclaimed artist Chandrakant Channe. Dr Subhash Chudhari Vice Chancellor; Dr Sanjay Dudhe Pro-Vice Chancellor; Dr Raju Hiwase Registrar; Satyanarayan Nuwal and Chandrakant Channe were on the dais. University had declared the awards in 2020 also but due to pandemic the function was not held. Name of Chandrakant Channe was announced for Jivansadhana award for the year 2020. The award was given to him this year along with Satyanarayan Nuwal whose name was announced for the year 2021. This year the awards for the year 2020 and 2021 were given. Ankush Shikshan Sanstha received the award in the Ideal Education Institute category for the year 2020 while Shri Santaji Shikshan Sanstha for 2021. During the COVID pandemic University had constituted a committee to help students. The committee headed by Management Council Member Vishnu Changde with Senate Member Adv Manmohan Bajpai and Member Secretary and Director of Students Development Department Dr Abhay Mudgal all three were felicitated on Wednesday. Dr Komal Thakre compered the programme while Dr Raju Hiwase proposed a vote of thanks.
