VHP rally for heroes who fought British, Mughals

Nagpur: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will be organizing Shiv Chhatrapati Shivaji Shaurya Jagran Yatra showcasing lives of historical personalities who fought the British as well as Mughals. The rally will cover districts of Vidarbha from September 30 to October 15. The rallies have been named after Shivaji as he had established a Hindu regime by defeating jihadi powers, said the organizers.The rally is part of events to mark the organizations 60th foundation year in 2024. In Nagpur, a model of the Ram Temple built at Ayodhya would be part of the rally which will be covering all the six assembly constituencies of the city. Addressing a press conference, VHPs regional secretary Govind Shende said that the Shaurya Jagran is an attempt to make people aware of the valour of people who fought for the country in the past. These includes those who took on the British and even the Mughals.
