Nagpur: After the presence of NCP MLA Nawab Malik in the assembly created a flutter on Thursday with Malik sitting on the treasury benches and fuelling an exchange of words between the opposition and the ruling alliance, deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis wrote to the other deputy CM Ajit Pawar that it would not be proper for the former minister to be part of the Mahayuti or the Shiv Sena-BJP-NCP grand alliance.On Thursday, Malik attended his first assembly session since the Supreme Court granted him medical bail in August this year. Accused in a money laundering case linked to Kurlas Goawala Compound, Malik had spent 1.6 years in custody.Though Malik hasnt made it clear which NCP faction he is with, his presence on the treasury benches hinted he may back Ajit Pawar.
