Nagpur: The anti-narcotic team of crime branch arrested two more persons in the cocaine case on Saturday, thus taking the number of arrests to eight. One of the accused has been identified as Angat Puri and the cops have registered the offence against the duo under relevant sections of NDPS.The six accused, which included 5 junkies and one drug peddler were nabbed on Friday and were produced before the court on Saturday.Cops have decoded the words 'white and myaau myaau' which were used on WhatsApp to scout for potential buyers. Consumers would text the peddlers on their personal numbers. Cops are procuring the contact numbers from the arrested peddler Azeem Sheikh who had brought a big consignment of cocaine on friendship day from Mumbai and sold in the outskirts of city.Cops had seized 7.3 grams of cocaine in pouches on Friday. DCP (crime) Sambhaji Kadam informed that the interrogation of all accused is underway to root out the name of kingpin. It's learnt that teams are being formed to send to Mumbai for further investigation. tnn
