From March 9 to 11, a farmers’ farm fresh market will be held at Grape County.“There will be around 35 stalls which will be free of cost for farmers. MTDC regional officer Nitin Mundaware said at a briefing here that the department was supporting the festival and has appealed to people to promote wine tourism and agri-tourism in Nashik. We will be making the programme a social gathering with music, etc, to make it interesting,” said Kiran Chavan of Grape County.“The programmes will include seminars, screening of films on good farming and visit to biodiversity garden,” he said. Nashik: As part of the ongoing India Grape Harvest 2018, the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation and the Nashik Valley Wine Cluster will be jointly organising several programmes in the first week of March.The festival has been organised to promote grapes and wine from Nashik, grape farming, agricultural tourism and the Nashik Valley brand.Various festivals have been organised in the wineries in Nashik and surrounding areas.The programmes will begin from March 2 at Venkatesh Nagar, Bhavali in Igatpuri and will continue in different parts of the district.
