First MCVC merit list to be out on June 21

Two merit lists will be announced for bifocal admissions - first on June 21 and second on June 28. If bifocal seats remain vacant even after two merit lists, colleges will be free to fill up the seats with general candidates. More than 25,000 students have registered themselves for the 26,400 seats available in the colleges. There are around 1,500 seats in city colleges available for the bifocal courses.While bifocal admissions will be done by June 28, the general admissions in Commerce, Science and Arts streams will start in the first week of July. Merit list for quota admissions were declared at college level and the detailed seat situation was uploaded after these admissions on June 19,” said Vaibhav Sarode, coordinator of the CAP in Nashik.This year, for the first time, admissions to the bifocal courses are being conducted separately in the zero round.

CLEARED SKHERSLUG: CLASS XI ADMISSIONSNashik: Junior colleges have completed the admissions under different quotas such as management, minority and in-house and submitted the details regarding the remaining seats for Commerce, Science and Arts streams of Class XI to the centralized admission process (CAP) on Tuesday.The first merit list of the bifocal admissions (MCVC) will be released on June 21 at 11 am.“Quota admissions were conducted under zero round by June 18. Merit list for quota admissions were declared at college level and the detailed seat situation was uploaded after these admissions on June 19,” said Vaibhav Sarode, coordinator of the CAP in Nashik.This year, for the first time, admissions to the bifocal courses are being conducted separately in the zero round. Competition is most likely to be tough for the Commerce stream as number of available seats is less.“While more than 25,000 students have completed part one of the online admission process, only 9,000 of them have filled part two and marked their preferences of the colleges. June 25 is the last date for filling part two of the application,” said Sarode.While marking the choice preferences in the online process, the students have to click on ‘Search by College’ or ‘College Information’ options to view college details and last year’s third round cut-off.The official website https://nashik.11thadmission.net is ready with the latest information about colleges.
