Tanabata, a Japanese festival of Love was held at a restaurant in Nashik today. The festival was organized by the Versatile Academy today, 8July 2018. The festival served Japanese food and had a bamboo tree where people hung up wishes and poetry on small, colorful parchments of paper. The organizers also held fun games of Japanese tongue twister challenges. The festivities included making wishes, experiencing Japanese culture and getting a taste of Japanese food.The volunteers at the festivals were dressed in beautiful kimonos with Japanese hand fans as they showcased art and told the people of the history behind Tanabata .
