More flights between Nashik Delhi on the cards

Nashik: Jet Airways is mulling to increase the frequency of the Nashik-Delhi flights from the current thrice a week to at least five days a week.The airline is also planning to connect Nashik with Bangalore, Indore and Calcutta in the near future.Gilbert George, vice-president (sales) of Jet Airways, spelled out the airline’s future plans involving Nashik on Tuesday during a meeting with representatives of various trade and industrial associations.Members of Nashik Industries & Manufacturers’ Association (NIMA), Ambad Industries & Manufacturers’ Association (AIMA), Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (MACCIA), Credai Nashik and Travel Agents Association of Nashik (TAAN) participated in the meeting.Jet Airways started its operations from Nashik on June 15 under the regional connectivity scheme (RCS) and occupancy is over 70% with adequate cargo load.“We are working on increasing frequency of present Nashik-Delhi flights from thrice a week to at least five days a week.
