Nashik: A 52-year-old man under treatment for kidney troubles jumped to death from the third floor of the Regional Referral Hospital on Saturday night.Pathan Rahim Khan had been under dialysis. Nampalli said the patient was rushed to ICU but could not be saved.Khan had been suffering from a chronic kidney disease. He caught hospital staff entirely by surprise when he suddenly grew violent, undid the tubes attacked to his body, rushed to the window, broke the panes with his head and jumped to death. There were about five patients and three hospital staff in the room at the time of the suicide.VB Nampalli, medical superintendent of the referral hospital, said staff members were too stunned to react immediately.
