Nashik-based martial arts expert trains girl students of Mumbai College

NASHIK: City-based martial arts expert Mohammad Arif Khan conducted a training workshop on self-defence for girl students of Raheja College of Architecture , Mumbai recently.He demonstrated martial arts techniques for self-defence to the students. Since the past 24 years he has been focusing on guiding girls and women in self-defence techniques in the backdrop of violence against women.“Training is necessary to make women self-dependent by empowering them,” Khan said.He demonstrated various techniques of martial arts that women can practice when they are attacked. He showed what tactics a woman should employ if she is attacked all of a sudden and is caught by the offender or if there is attempt to molest, and escape from the situation.
