But there is still uncertainty whether he would be given a ticket again as some BJP leaders indicated that the party could field a new face on that seat.

Under the seat sharing agreement with Congress in North Maharashtra, NCP will contest on five seats while the remaining seats would be contested by Congress.NCP sources said that for Ahmednagar seat Arun Jagtap is the front runner although a section of local leadership has floated the name of Jagtap’s son and the local MLA Sangram as the party candidate.“The party’s candidate from Ahmednagar would be either father or the son.
