Nashik: Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday took a dig at the political opponents saying that senior players have now become non-playing captains. He was addessing a joint rally along with Shiv Sena in Nashik. Even as we hold hands together, the political opponent is known for playing games and laying traps. Fadnavis said, “The opposition was left dumbstruck and they were unable to chalk out their programmes for the parliamentary campaign.”He further said, “We have a clear vision of the country. It is for the first time that there is a strong leadership at the centre in the form of Narendra Modi.

Nashik: Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday took a dig at the political opponents saying that senior players have now become non-playing captains. He was addessing a joint rally along with Shiv Sena in Nashik. The BJP and Sena have joined hands to contest the upcoming parliamentary elections.“The day Shiv Sena and BJP joined hands – in the interest of the nation – captains of many political parties are unable to find ‘candidates’, captains of some others have started withdrawing, some have become the 12th man, some others have become the non-playing captains,” Fadnavis said.Fadnavis, along with Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray, BJP state president Raosaheb Patil-Danve, MP Sanjay Raut, senior BJP leader Eknath Khadse and others were present at rally to address the representatives and party workers from all eight lok sabha seats in North Maharashtra.Without mentioning the names Fadnavis hinted at Nationalist Congress Party president Sharad Pawar, who recently announced his withdrawal from contesting parliamentary elections. Fadnavis said, “The opposition was left dumbstruck and they were unable to chalk out their programmes for the parliamentary campaign.”He further said, “We have a clear vision of the country. It is for the first time that there is a strong leadership at the centre in the form of Narendra Modi. The opposition is unable to gets its pieces together,” Fadnavis said.He also took a dig at the opposition saying that the other parties who were challenging the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) were the ones who were doubting the action of the forces in Pakistan.“It is most unfortunate that the opposition – which is promising to take on NDA – is asking for proof of surgical strikes and raids. Wonder if the people would like to hand over the governance in the hands of political leaders like Rahul Gandhi, who address the JeM terrorist as ‘Azhar Masood Ji,” he said.Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray, on the other hand, cautioned the leaders of both political parties to beware of the political games that ‘opposition leaders’ could play. “Don’t take the political enemy for granted. Even as we hold hands together, the political opponent is known for playing games and laying traps. You don’t fall in the traps and stick to the saffron alliance,” Uddhav Thackeray said hinting at the possibilities of some disgruntled elements likely to cross over to the opposition camps.Thackeray also took a dig at Sharad Pawar on his remarks on leader of opposition Balasaheb Vikhe-Patil (from Congress) after the latter joined BJP.“Pawar has always put his family first. Pawar never believed that there can be talent in other families as well. If you are unable to value Sujay (Vikhe-Patil)’s talents, it is better he decides his future. And the other parties can also nurture it,” Thackeray said.
