Officials visit railway station to ensure no poll code violation

Yet we were told to check the premises for any elements that violated the Model Code of Conduct (MCC),” one officer told TOI.Railways ordered officials to check if there were any posters and banners, messages or advertisements carrying photographs or the messages of any of political parties or leaders, whether of the prime minister or the Railway minister on walls, hoardings and other public spaces belonging to the Railways.
