Got Down at station to drink water, fell while catching train: Nashik

Railways police Imran Qureshi and Rakesh Shedmake, who saved Riaz Sheikh`s life, are being lauded. While the incident at Wangani railway station is fresh, it has been repeated in Nashik. 

Police saved the life of an old man who fell down the steps due to the noise of catching a moving train. Two passengers rescued a passenger trapped in a gap between the platform and the vehicle. Riaz Sheikh, an elderly passenger from Godan Express, had alighted on the platform of Nashik Road railway station to drink water. As soon as the train left, he tried to catch the running train. But as the train picked up speed, the old man slipped off the steps. But the railway police saved the life of the elderly passenger regardless of his own life.

Imran Qureshi and Rakesh Shedmake the police officials rescued the passenger who was trapped between the platform and the vehicle. This shocking incident at Nashik Road railway station has been captured on CCTV.
