Man vandalizes 8 vehicles over parking issue; held

Nashik: The police have arrested a suspect for allegedly damaging eight cars in three areas of the city in the early hours of Monday.The suspect, identified as Nitin Raut from Vihitgaon, alleged damaged card which were parked in Deolaligaon, Vihitgaon and Wadner Road around 2 am on Monday.According to the police, Raut had an argument with a person of Vihitgaon area and was angry with the person as he was parking the vehicle on the road. Raut even demanded money from the man and had also threatened of smashing his vehicle. At around 1.20 am on Monday, Raut allegedly damaged the concerned persons vehicle and the other vehicles in the area. The incident came to light around 6 am, when the vehicle owners were informed about the damage to their vehicles. This is the third such incident in the Nashik Road area. Two months ago, vehicles were damaged and set on fire in Vihitgaon area. following which the police had registered a complaint and had arrested the suspect. A few days later, some cars were again ransacked in the Datta Mandir area. The police had managed to arrested the suspect involved in this case too.
