NASHIK: Students from Nashik came across some difficulties while downloading their Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains results due to server problems on Thursday but, overall it was a happy scenario as the cut-off marks came down compared to the past three years.Over 12,400 students from Nashik took JEE Mains on April 2, 8, and 9 . However, it was not clear till late evening how many of them would be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. Experts said the number will be go up as the cut-off has come down. Candidates scoring the cut-off marks will be eligible for JEE Advanced , scheduled to take place on May 21.Aditya Oak, director of a career institute here, said that although the cut off has gone down, the top-100 cut-off score has gone high. "The top-100 cut-off mark was 310 last year. This year it has increased to 318-19," Oak said. Pramod Patil , who leads another JEE institute, said the overall result was stupendous this year.
