Natl Sindhi conference from tomorrow

This is for the first time that the national conference of Sindhi language is being organised out of Vadodara — headquarters of NCPSL.Office bearers of Nashik Sindhi Panchayat addressed a press conference at Sindhi Bhavan on Thursday to share details about the event. We will discuss contribution of the Sindhi Community in development of Sindhi language and literature in the first session. The cultural events will continue after the closing ceremony. Nashik: The National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language (NCPSL) along with Nashik Sindhi Panchayat and Nashik District Sindhi Samaj is organising a national conference dedicated to Sindhi language and culture on November 25 and 26.As the NCPSL is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) of India, HRD minister Prakash Javadekar will be the chief guest for the concluding ceremony to be held at Karmaveer Dadasaheb Gaikwad Hall in Bhabha Nagar.Javadekar is a statutory chairperson of the NCPSL that was established in 1994. Cultural events and musical events will follow," said Sevak Darda, editor of Sindhi Magazine Rashtriya Sundar Sansar and office-bearer of Nashik District Sindhi Samaj.Apart from Javadekar, Nashik guardian minister Girish Mahajan, BJP state president Raosaheb Danve, Member of Parliaments Harishchandra Chavan, Hemant Godse and other public representatives will attend the function.Various fronts of Sindhi Samaj organisations have planned their musical, cultural and literary events on Sunday.
