Tata H5X SUV concept

The ‘H5X concept’ from the – ‘Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced’ Architecture – the 5-seater luxury SUV, is set to redefine the SUV benchmarks in the country and the ‘45X concept’ – the premium hatchback based on the versatile – ‘Agile Light Flexible Advanced’ Architecture. The Tata H5X is a premium SUV that is expected to get a 2.0-litre diesel engine and will be priced upwards of Rs 17 Lakhs.

Maruti Suzuki Concept Future S SUV

Maruti Suzuki Concept future S SUV’s design is very bold that the front of the car uses more or less upright surfaces and the A-pillar is nearly vertical.

New Honda CR-V SUV

The previous generation Honda CR-V in India came with a petrol motor. The new CR-V also gets all wheel drive, giving it decent off-road ability. It has LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, and new alloy wheels. Most importantly, the new Honda CR-V will be offered with a 1.6-litre diesel motor.

Mahindra Thar Wanderlust concept SUV

Mahindra and Mahindra often brought Thar based concepts at the Auto Expos. This iteration of the motor show saw the Mahindra Thar Wanderlust. While it does look exciting and more extreme than the regular Thar.

Tata Nexon AMT SUV

Tata Motors displayed the Nexon AMT SUV at the 2018 Auto Expo. The Tata Nexon AMT, on showcase, is a 1.5-litre diesel model. The company has not yet announced any launch date for the SUV, which we believe should happen in the coming months.

Maruti Suzuki e-Survivor SUV concept

The Suzuki e-Survivor is an electric vehicle (EV) and comes powered by two electric motors for the front and back wheels. The Suzuki e-Survivor SUV, as stated by the company earlier, inherits the magnetic identity of Suzuki from the Jimny (Gypsy in India) and the Vitara.

Mercedes-Benz EQ Concept SUV

Mercedes displayed the EQ electric car concept at 2018 Auto Expo and became the star of the company`s stable. The main feature distinguishing the future electric EQ models that comes with a white-illuminated Mercedes star and integrates the light elements under one surface. The company claims a power output of 400hp and a driving range of up to 500 km on a single charge. Despite its sheer size, Mercedes says the concept is capable of sprinting from 0-100 km/h in under 5 seconds.

Kia SP Concept SUV

The India-specific compact SUV based on the Kia SP Concept will enter production in 2019. The bold and sleek exterior design with the sleek interior which Kia says "marries an advanced sensual style and dynamic sensibility at its core with a differentiated layout that enhances convenience." The SP Concept SUV is believed to be of the same size as the Hyundai Creta in India.

Mahindra Rexton unnamed SUV

The Mahindra Rexton flagship SUV comes with a 2.2-litre diesel motor that makes 178PS of power and generates 420Nm of torque. The motor is mated to a 7-speed Mercedes-Benz automatic transmission that will send power to all four wheels.

Mahindra Stinger convertible SUV concept

The Mahindra Stinger is sub-4m SUV with no roof. The Stinger carries the boxy shape of its base vehicle but the overall look has been tweaked to make it appealing in convertible form.
