GREATER NOIDA: A black Labrador was abducted when the caretaker had taken two dogs for a routine stroll on June 16 in Sector 31. Three masked men dragged the dog in a grey Chevrolet car and fled the spot. A case of theft has been registered on behalf of owner Sushil Joshua.According to the complainant, his driver Tiklal Nanda had taken two Labrador dogs for a routine walk near Gayatri Mandir in Swarn Nagri.“Nanda strolled in the neighbourhood with the two pets. At around 9pm, he was returning with them when three masked men in a grey Chevrolet car reached the spot. The car had no number plates. Two miscreants caught hold of my driver and the third one snatched the leash of the black male dog from Nanda’s hand and forcibly abducted the pet. All the three criminals got into the car and immediately fled the spot. The incident took place around 50 metres from Joshua’s house. However, the accused managed to escape with the pet. Nanda called and informed police. He later returned home and told his employer,” an officer said.Joshua said he bought the dog two years ago.
