We called the PVVNL officials multiple times to inform them about the situation.”A 60 MVA transformer of the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPTCL) located in RC Green of Greater Noida also got burnt leading to long outages in some areas of Greater Noida, including sectors such as Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Pi III.While residents complained industrial areas were being provided power and residential areas were being neglected, power department officials said that due to transformer, load shedding had occurred in all areas.Sarthak Ganguly, spokesperson for Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL), told TOI that even industrial sectors had outages for as long as seven hours.“The situation will better from Thursday as the transformer was replaced on Wednesday.
