Noida: Federation meets CM Yogi over civic issues

NOIDA: A delegation of Federation of Noida Residents Welfare Associations ( FONRWA )- comprising president N P Singh, secretary general A N Dhawan, senior vice president Suresh Tiwari and vice president Virendra Singh - met chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday at his office at Sachivalaya NSC in Lucknow and presented a memorandum on common civic issues concerning Noida city.These include laying of underground power cables in the city, dedicated waste management and disposal mechanism, establishment of separate maintenance division in Noida authority to cater to the civic issues of the city, conversation of Noida leasehold land into freehold, public representation of RWA federation in Noida authority board and more.FONRWA had a similar meeting with CM Yogi last year on Nov 8, 2011 on these issues when CM Yogi had directed the matter to be addressed by the then constituted three-member ministerial level committee comprising urban housing and development minister Suresh Khanna, industries minister Satish Mahana and minister (independent charge) of cane development and sugar mills Suresh Rana followed by a report.In the Monday’s meeting CM Yogi heard the delegation’s issues and assured action on all counts.
