NOIDA: A 21-year old youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances near Sector 15 metro station on Friday. The victim was later identified as Anshul , a resident of Etawah district. He lived at his maternal uncle’s place in Auraiya where he studied for BSc first year.On Monday, his family members approached Sector 20 police station, alleging Anshul was lured by a girl for marriage and poisoned to death in Noida.His mother Rupa Devi said Anshul was a BSc first year student in a college in Auraiya. Six months ago, he had met a girl on the campus and became friends. Devi said the girl, whose identity is not established, trapped Anshul and eloped with him on September 2. She said that Anshul had left the house with Rs 1.5 lakh and came to Noida.The woman alleged that Anshul and the girl stayed on a rented accommodation for few days in Harolla village in Noida. However, on September 6 night, the girl fled after allegedly pouring poison in his beer. The woman said that Anshul had called her informing that his health is deteriorating after consuming beer and he may not survive.She said that she rushed to Noida but couldn’t find him. Later the police found an unknown body near Sector 15 metro station. The woman later identified the body as that of Anshul.
