GHAZIABAD: A 60-year-old man and his 35-year-old son were found murdered on Tuesday near a shanty in which they lived in Ghaziabad . The deceased have been identified as Murli and his son Nanhe, who worked as daily wage labourers.Murli’s younger son Dinesh, who was found injured a little distance away,has admitted to having killed his father and brother during a quarrel late on Monday night, police said. Police had rushed to the spot after receiving a call about the bodies lying unattended. Dinesh was found sitting dazed and injured on a wooden cot outside the shanty.“Nanhe arrived home in an inebriated state on Monday night. There was a quarrel between him and our father, which soon escalated into a fight. They attacked each other with staffs and wooden planks as I tried to intervene. Our father suffered blows on the head after which he fell unconscious and died. Nanhe attacked me, too. He was injured seriously when I attacked in retaliation and died after some time,” Dinesh has apparently told the police. He has been arrested.Earlier, too, the trio had been involved in fights that had required police intervention. The bodies were sent for autopsies. “Dinesh has accepted that the deaths took place during a quarrel between them,” said Sanjay Pandey, the SHO of Sihani Gate police station.
