NOIDA: Following a request from the Principal of the Panchsheel Balak Inter College Sector 91 , Noida Authority has undertaken the maintenance work of the 25-acre campus on Tuesday. Under this, work related to completion of a 750 seating capacity auditorium along with a senior scholar’s mess building will be undertaken. Estimated to cost Rs 10 crores, the work will be completed in one year's time. Other pending issues to be looked into include condition and upkeep of classrooms, hostel, residential buildings and sports facility on the campus.“We have taken up the maintenance work of the college including completing the 750 seating capacity auditorium as well as the mess building for senior students. The cost of the work is estimated at Rs 10 crore and it will be completed in one year’s time,” said Samakant Srivastava general manager (Civil) Noida Authority who was part of the 1.5-hour inspection of the 25-acre campus on Tuesday.Accompanied by a team of Noida authority work circle 8 including Srivastava, the inspection held under CEO Alok Tandon undertook an assessment and review of all buildings in the college – academic, hostels, residential flat towers and sports facilities.On the occasion, the principal Dr Neeraj Tandon also requested that class 6 to 12 be opened for day scholars so as to help increase the number of students in the college. CEO Tandon asked the principal to submit a proposal to that effect.Panchsheel Balak Inter College is an English medium educational institution affiliated to CBSE New Delhi and situated in Sector-91 Noida Expressway, Gautam Budh Nagar. Established and administrated by the Noida and Greater Noida Education Society, the college run classes from 1st to 12th standard across three wings - senior, middle and primary.
