NOIDA: At least one more assailant had entered the Punjab National Bank branch in Noida Sector 1 in which two guards were hacked to death on Thursday night during a robbery bid, CCTV footage being scanned by police have revealed.On Friday, police had said two masked youths in their early 20s could be seen entering the guards’ room and then the strong room. On Saturday, another man can be seen in the footage scaling the wall of the bank from behind the main building and exiting the premises.Police said the footage shows two masked men entering the premises but three men exiting it. It has been also revealed that the two guards had been tied before they were hacked to death.“The third accused can be seen exiting the bank premises using a ladder. The other two others can be seen exiting in a similar manner, but after some time,” a police officer said on Saturday.At least one of the accused can be wearing a guard’s T-shirt in the footage.Additional SHO Jaiveer Singh said autopsy reports of both the guards had mentioned that they died because of a “severe ante-mortem injury to the brain”.“The injury seems to have been caused by a sharp, blunt object but not a sharp-edged object,” he said. There have been injuries in other parts of the body too.The police have formed multiple teams to search the three accused and raids were conducted in various locations through the day. The police are also viewing CCTV footage from other buildings in the area near the bank.
