Bennett University turns into a haunted house

It was a night of fright at Bennett University at Greater Noida as it celebrated Halloween recently. While some students channelised popular fictional characters and turned into witches, vampires or skeleton , others donned black, red or white clothes and complimented their looks with some spooky makeup. To add to the experience, there were food stalls that served everything from Chinese dishes to mouth-watering waffles. Many students lined up at the stalls for games and face-paints.

The face-painting stall set up by Silhouette, the art club of Bennett, experimented with the looks and gave spooky appearances to the students.Viren Tak, a second-year student of Mass Communication, said, “I had a dark green three-piece suit, so I chose the character accordingly. I channelised the Joker from 'The Dark Knight'. It took me around 20 minutes to complete my makeup, which I did all by myself. I got a lot of compliments for my look and I totally loved it.”The members of Verve, the dance club of Bennett, performed to popular chartbusters including 'God’s Plan', 'Rolex' and 'Gud Naal Ishq Meetha', among others. The coordination and energy level of the students was a sheer delight to watch. From decorations and stalls to dance performances and DJ beats, the event had it all.” Saumyta Tyagi, a first-year student of Law, added, “It was a very well-organised event, thanks to the hard work put in by different clubs.” The entire campus was decorated in such a way that it brought alive the theme of Halloween. To add to the experience, there were food stalls that served everything from Chinese dishes to mouth-watering waffles. Many students lined up at the stalls for games and face-paints.
