NOIDA: Mystery shrouded the death of a 25-year-old anchor of a national news channel in a Noida highrise as police said the main accused - her senior colleague detained in the case - has been changing statements even though the society's security guards claimed they saw the duo in the balcony minutes before a loud thud was heard.Rahul Awasthi, a senior news anchor with the same channel, was detained in connection with Radhika Kaushik's death at Antriksh Forest Apartments in Noida's Sector 77 on Friday under Section 302 of IPC (murder). But cops said he has changed his statements several times since his arrest. Radhika's family and friends, however, insist she was murdered.Police said Rahul had initially claimed that he was in the toilet when Radhika apparently toppled over the balcony of her flat in N tower, which was at a low height.
