Noida releases list of 618 gangsters

Noida: The district administration on Sunday released a list of 618 gangsters to put their names in public domain. “We have slapped the Gangsters Act against 618 criminals since May 2017. They are residents of Noida, Greater Noida, Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, and also from some parts of Western UP.The district administration has already slapped National Security Act (NSA) against five of the accused named in the list. It has also urged people to inform police and the administration if they find the movement of these gangsters in their neighbourhood.District magistrate B N Singh said that the administration was taking stringent action against the anti-social elements. There may be some more who are absconding and wanted in criminal cases.

Some of them were arrested and put behind the bars. There may be some more who are absconding and wanted in criminal cases. We have urged people to share information about their movement so that necessary actions can be taken against them,” the DM said.These people named in the lists are accused in various crimes, including loot, murder, dacoity, rape, etc. They are residents of Noida, Greater Noida, Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, and also from some parts of Western UP.The district administration has already slapped National Security Act (NSA) against five of the accused named in the list.
