Case against hospital as teacher admitted for abortion dies

Since she had a fit before the start of the procedure, the abortion could not be carried out too. Since she had a fit before the start of the procedure, the abortion could not be carried out too. The family members did not allow a post-mortem on the body,” he said.According to the complaint, Ankita came to the hospital when she was two months pregnant. She was already a mother and this was her second pregnancy. The complaint says she expired on December 31 and alleges negligence by doctors.Circle officer Swetabh Pandey said police had received a written complaint against the team of doctors that apparently attended to Ankita. “We received the complaint from the deceased’s family. An FIR has been lodged against a team of doctors from the hospital under IPC 304 a (causing death by negligence),” he said.
