Hospital asks staffers not to talk to media, warns of action

Sources said the news reports about the alleged acts by the hospital triggered the latest notice.The director of the hospital, Dr D K Gupta, said,“There has to be a system. If in future, any staffer does something like this, then disciplinary and punishable action will be taken against him or her.” A copy of the notice is in possession of TOI.According to the hospital employees, the notice was put up on Wednesday.

NOIDA: The management of the child PGI hospital has asked its staffers not to speak to the media on any issues pertaining to health facility, warning them of disciplinary action if the directive is violated.In a notice pasted on the hospital wall, the medical superintendent of the Super Speciality Paediatric Hospital and Post-Graduate Teaching Institute (SSPHPGTI) has said that all the staffers are being directed that they “will neither speak to the media in any manner in relation to the institute nor they will issue some statement. If in future, any staffer does something like this, then disciplinary and punishable action will be taken against him or her.” A copy of the notice is in possession of TOI.According to the hospital employees, the notice was put up on Wednesday.
