NOIDA: The 66-year-old National General Secretary of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), Ram Lal was hospitalised for high fever and cold in Noida on Wednesday night. Doctors said he will remain in the hospital for a few days.Ram Lal was rushed to Kailash Hospital in Sector 27 area of Noida at around 9.30 pm on Wednesday for immediate medical assistance. "He was brought in with high fever after which the doctors carried a series of blood tests and checkups on him in order to find the real cause of his sickness however, all the reports that have come so far have shown nothing serious, it seems a normal cough and cold,” said a spokesperson from the Kailash Hospital.The spokesperson further added that a few test reports are expected to come by Thursday evening, “The patient is showing recovery, the doctors, however, have decided to keep him under observation for a day or more,” the spokesperson added.Ram Lal is one of the office bearers at BJP headquarters in New Delhi, he had joined the party as a Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh Pracharak (full-time worker) for Western Uttar Pradesh.
